    Jääportit is set to release a brand new single “Syksy saapuu (Autumn Arrives)” on Friday, October 10th, 2025 at 16:20, accompanied by a official music video.

    Originally begun in 2002 and finally completed in autumn 2025, the track carries years of seasonal echoes crystallized into sound. Instrumental and atmospheric passages intertwine and dissolve within a dense, immersive frost-rock soundscape, capturing the stillness and melancholy of autumn.

    The official music video, filmed by TikSu, captures the stark and evocative spirit of autumn.

    The single is available on all major streaming platforms, with the video premiering simultaneously on YouTube.

    I am pleased to share a new track, “Muinaisvoimaa,” which was released on February 28, 2025. This song is my contribution to the Echoes from the Dungeon Fest I: A Festival Lineup Compilation.

    “Muinaisvoimaa” (Ancient Power) delves into the deep, frozen layers of the North. This time the soundscape is enriched by the haunting and ethereal vocals of TikSu, adding a new dimension to the atmospheric layers I usually create. It is a journey through time and cold, reaching for the primal energies that remain hidden in the shadows.

    Vinyl will be released by Out Of Season, record label based in Maine, USA, at Monday Sept 5, 2022, at 2PM EST.
    Limited to 300 copies on ice blue vinyl with big A2 size glossy poster.
    Available in both Out Of Season’s US and EU stores.
    Remastered for vinyl by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound Mastering.

    New single Kaikkeuden korvennus out August 26 2022

    It’s time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jääportit with the new music!

    New single “Kaikkeuden korvennus” (“Scorching Universe” in English) will be released on all digital platforms next Friday, August 26, 2022.

    Track offers a glimpse of the authentic Jääportit frost-rock sound and is part of the upcoming album to be released later.

    The musical expression of the project has moved from the dark ambient of the early days to somewhere deeper, fusing elements from many different styles, such as post-rock and progressive electronica, creating chilling cinematic soundscapes that carry you through portal and universe.

    For the fans of my old dungeon synth music, the long-waited “Kauan koskematon” – vinyl re-issue and new merch will out 5th of September, 2022. Read more about it from the post:
