About the Album

Composed and produced by T. M. Mäkelä during the winter of 1998–1999, Kauan koskematon is a defining work in the Jääportit discography. Its rich layers of atmospheric textures, frozen melodies, and evocative soundscapes transport listeners into the heart of winter, a place where time stands still and imagination wanders.

Originally released on limited cassette by Noitavasara, this Out Of Season vinyl edition brings out both the warmth and the icy detail in the sound.
