Uumenissa, the second Jääportit album, is out today on cassette, a joint reissue by Kajdum’s Tower and Frostbitten Records. First released on CD in 2004, the album is now back in physical form 22 years later.
The tape comes in two editions, both very small:
- Wooden relic-box edition, 10 copies. Every box is made by hand, so no two are alike.
- Jewel-case cassette, 18 copies.
Both are on super-ferro tape, and the cover keeps the original watercolor painting.
A few copies will also come to the Jääportit Shop later this autumn.
Thanks to Gábor at Kajdum’s Tower for bringing Uumenissa back after all these years.
