    From the deep silence of frost and drifting atmosphere, Uumenissa continues its journey. Since its original release in 2004, Uumenissa has been described as a work of immersive calm and hypnotic depth, an album moving slowly through cold space and inner landscapes. Reviews have spoken of its glacial pacing, its dreamlike synthesis, and the way it invites the listener to descend inward rather than outward. The music unfolds patiently, layer by layer, like wind crossing an open winter plain at dusk.

    Jääportit Live in Berlin, April 25, 2026

    Jääportit will perform live in Berlin on April 25, 2026 at Neue Zukunft, as part of a special label night celebrating 10 years of Out Of Season.

    Rising from the underground with a strong DIY ethos, Out Of Season has established itself as a premier stronghold for dungeon synth and dark fantasy music. Dedicated to the obscure and the fantastical, the US-based label bridges the gap between the genre’s history and its future, curating releases that range from the legendary works of Mortiis and Jim Kirkwood to the modern vanguard of Quest Master, Erang and Fief.

    For this special anniversary event, Out Of Season brings the dungeon to the stage, presenting a soundscape shaped by ancient citadels, electronic fantasy and immersive atmosphere.

    Celebrating 10 Years with this line-up not to be missed:

    Fief @fief.official (USA) makes a historic journey for his first-ever performance in the EU. A titan of the Medieval Synth genre, he weaves synthesizer grandeur with pastoral melodies to evoke the atmosphere of high keeps and ancient tales.

    Quest Master @lordgordith (Australia) headlines the gathering, bringing the lo-fi sounds of the dungeon crawl to the stage. His immersive, RPG-inspired soundscapes transport listeners through pixelated dungeons and forgotten fantasy realms.

    Jääportit @jaaportit (Finland) is a legendary figure in the scene, delivering a masterclass in dark ambient. Making his German debut, he summons deep, glacial atmospheres and cosmic drift from the frozen north.

    Frostgard @frostgard_ (Spain) joins the bill for their German debut, offering a sonic blizzard of atmospheric winter synth. Their sound is a melancholic and majestic tribute to the solitude of the snow-covered wilderness.

    Rotten Orc @ardengufffff (Leipzig) represents the raw, gritty underground. A staple of the local dungeon scene, they crawl from the depths to deliver lo-fi anthems that are as catchy as they are moss-covered.

    Tales Under The Oak @talesundertheoak (Berlin) opens the portal with “Folk Synth” mastery. Their set promises warm, lantern-lit melodies and cozy folklore tales for the weary traveler.

    Happy New Year, dear frost-walkers, dreamers, and travelers of sound!

    As the wheel of the year turns, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has walked alongside Jääportit, listening, watching, and supporting this journey through frozen soundscapes and imagined realms.

    Looking back, 2025 was a truly powerful year. It began with the echoes of a cold January night at Kuudes Linja in Helsinki, performing alongside Quest Master.

    In February, the path led to Amsterdam for Echoes from the Dungeon Fest, bringing Jääportit’s solitary atmospheres to an unforgettable international stage.

    Autumn brought a new milestone, the release of the single “Syksy saapuu (Autumn Arrives)”, accompanied by the first-ever Jääportit music video, capturing the transition into the season of darkness.

    To end the year, I have one final gift, Jääportit is featured on two brand-new compilations with various artists, “Yule Tales Volume I & II”, contributing a total of 4 tracks by Jääportit. See BandCamp-links below.
