TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Jääportit website and placing an order.

1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Jääportit website (www.jaaportit.net) and your purchase of products from us. By accessing the site and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Products

Made to Order

Custom apparel and accessories are produced on demand through a print-on-demand partner. These items are made specifically for your order and are not held in inventory. Minor variations in print placement or color may occur. Please report quality issues within 30 days of delivery.

Ready to Ship

Studio stock, including the vinyl LP, the tape reissues and the woven patches, is held and posted by hand by Jääportit and inspected before packing. These items ship within Europe only.

Album Downloads

The Kauan koskematon vinyl LP includes a digital download of the remastered album through Bandcamp, in MP3, FLAC and other high quality formats. If you have not received your download within 7 business days of delivery, contact jaaportit@gmail.com with your order number.

Product Accuracy

We aim to display accurate information, but monitor settings may cause color variations and measurements are approximate. We are not responsible for sizing errors made by the customer.

3. Ordering and Pricing

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. Prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable. The price charged will be the price shown at checkout.

Order Cancellation

  • Made to Order: cannot be cancelled once production has begun, typically within 24 hours of ordering.
  • Ready to Ship: can be cancelled within 24 hours if it has not been posted yet.

4. Payment

We accept PayPal and major credit/debit cards. Payment is processed at the time of order. All transactions are handled securely. By providing payment details, you confirm you are authorized to use that payment method.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

Processing Times

  • Made to Order: 5 to 7 business days for production, plus delivery time.
  • Ready to Ship: usually posted within a few business days of payment, plus delivery time.

Shipping

Made to Order items ship worldwide. Ready to Ship items are posted from Finland and can only be sent within Europe, so they cannot be ordered to an address outside it. Orders are shipped tracked where available. Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing.

You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed due to carrier issues, incorrect addresses, unclaimed parcels, or customs delays. Customs duties and import fees are the customer’s responsibility.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address you provided, reshipping requires payment of additional shipping fees.

6. Returns and Refunds

Please see our separate Refund and Returns Policy for full details. In summary:

  • Damaged or defective items: Refund or replacement within 30 days of delivery.
  • Made to Order: no returns for a change of mind or a size chosen in error.
  • Ready to Ship: returns accepted within 14 days if unused and in original condition.
  • Vinyl and tapes: non-returnable once opened, unless faulty.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, artwork, logos, and content on this site are protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use Jääportit’s designs, music, or branding for commercial purposes without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jääportit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, carrier disruptions, customs delays, or other force majeure events.

9. Privacy

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts. We encourage you to contact us first at jaaportit@gmail.com to resolve issues informally.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on the site. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
