REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY

Thank you for shopping at Jääportit. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our procedures.

Our Product Types

  1. Made-to-Order Products – Custom printed items produced specifically for your order
  2. Physical Inventory – Items we stock and ship ourselves (vinyl records, 3D prints, band merchandise)

When We Accept Returns

✅ Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items (30 days)

We accept returns for:

  • Items damaged in transit
  • Manufacturing defects or printing errors
  • Wrong item, size, or color sent
  • Vinyl records with playback issues

What to do:

  • Email jaaportit@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery
  • Include order number, photos, and description
  • We’ll send a free replacement or refund

What We Don’t Accept

❌ Made-to-Order Products:

No returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Wrong size ordered by customer
  • Color variations from screen display
  • Used or washed items

Why? These items are custom-made just for you once you order.

❌ Physical Inventory – Non-Returnable:

  • Opened or played vinyl records
  • Custom 3D printed items
  • Used or worn items
  • Sale/clearance items (unless defective)

Physical Inventory Returns (14 days)

For unused items in original condition:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery
  • Customer pays return shipping
  • Refund issued after inspection (5-10 business days)
  • Original shipping costs non-refundable

Common Issues

📦 Lost Package

If tracking shows no movement 5+ days past estimated delivery:

  • Contact us at jaaportit@gmail.com
  • We’ll investigate with carrier
  • Replacement or refund if confirmed lost

📫 “Delivered” But Not Received

First check:

  • With neighbors
  • Around your delivery area
  • Local post office

We cannot replace packages marked as delivered by the carrier, but contact us and we’ll try to help.

📍 Wrong Address

If returned due to your incorrect address:

  • We’ll notify you
  • Reshipping available for additional shipping fee
  • Original shipping non-refundable

❌ Wrong Item Received

Contact us within 30 days:

⏰ Delayed Order

Wait 5 business days past estimated delivery, then contact us with your tracking number.


How to Request a Return

  1. Email jaaportit@gmail.com
  2. Include:
    • Order number
    • Reason for return
    • Photos (if damaged)
  3. Wait for our response (1-2 business days)
  4. Follow our return instructions

Refunds

Processing time: 5-10 business days after we receive/approve return

What’s refunded:

  • Product cost (full amount for defects)
  • Original shipping (defects only)

Not refunded:

  • Shipping for non-defective returns
  • Return shipping (except defects)

Size Exchanges

We don’t offer free size exchanges for made-to-order items.

Best practice: Check size charts carefully before ordering.


Vinyl Records

Tested before shipping. Returns accepted for:

  • Skipping/playback issues
  • Warped records
  • Manufacturing defects

Not accepted for:

  • Normal surface noise
  • Cosmetic issues that don’t affect playback

Contact within 14 days of receipt.


3D Printed Items

Normal characteristics (not defects):

  • Visible layer lines
  • Minor surface texture

Valid returns for:

  • Structural damage
  • Missing parts
  • Wrong item
