Refund and Returns Policy
Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from the Jääportit shop, you agree to the terms below.
Product Types
Orders fall into one of two categories:
Made-to-Order — Custom printed apparel and accessories produced specifically for your order via a print-on-demand partner. These items do not exist until you order them.
Physical Inventory — Items stocked and shipped directly by Jääportit: vinyl records, limited edition releases, woven patches, and select band merchandise.
When Returns Are Accepted
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
Valid for both product types. Contact us within 30 days of delivery if you received:
- An item damaged in transit
- A manufacturing defect or printing error
- The wrong item, size, or color
- A vinyl record with playback issues (skipping, warping, manufacturing defects)
Email jaaportit@gmail.com with your order number, a description, and photos. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund including original shipping.
Physical Inventory — Unused Items
Unused physical inventory items in original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Contact us before sending anything back. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
What We Do Not Accept
Made-to-order products cannot be returned for:
- Change of mind
- Wrong size ordered by the customer
- Color variations due to screen settings
- Items that have been used or washed
These items are custom-made to order and cannot be restocked.
Physical inventory items that are non-returnable:
- Opened or played vinyl records
- Items that have been used or worn
- Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
Vinyl Records
All vinyl records are inspected before shipping. Returns are accepted for playback issues, warping, or manufacturing defects — contact us within 14 days of receipt. Normal surface noise and minor cosmetic marks that do not affect playback are not considered defects.
3D Printed Items
Visible layer lines and minor surface texture are normal characteristics of 3D printed objects and are not considered defects. Returns are accepted for structural damage, missing parts, or wrong items received.
Lost or Undelivered Packages
If tracking shows no movement for 5 or more days past the estimated delivery date, contact us at jaaportit@gmail.com with your order number and tracking information. We will follow up with the carrier.
We are unable to replace packages marked as delivered by the carrier, but contact us and we will do our best to help.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, reshipping is available for an additional shipping fee.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the return is received and approved.
For defective or wrong items: full product cost and original shipping are refunded. For other accepted returns: product cost only. Return shipping and original shipping costs are non-refundable.
How to Request a Return

- Your order number
- Reason for the return
- Photos if the item is damaged or defective
We aim to respond within 5–7 business days. Do not send items back before hearing from us.
